This week, my special guest is one of my students! I thrive off of sharing these conversations with you...
My client and I go over the various ways of creating and keeping wealth. I call it the “storage tank”... and they go as followed:
Storage Tank:
The whole game of money is called Cash Flow! And money knowledge is not common sense because it is not taught in school. This is where my money school - CURBS - comes into play. It is a way to create a cash flow management system by making conscious, deliberate choices with your money.
Krisstina’s Advice:
“My definition of an asset is something that creates cash flow at some point in time.” - Krisstina Wise
Client Questions:
My guest this week is Dr. Frances Yahia, an archetypal astrologer, shaman, akashic records’ reader, and spiritual counselor based in South Florida.
She earned her Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling and Educational Leadership from Barry University and has studied and taught metaphysics for over two decades.
Dr. Yahia’s main interests are Jungian analysis with an emphasis on depth psychology, patterns, shadow work, and the use of symbols and archetypes to assist clients with their deepest subconscious patterns. She helps clients identify the narratives they’ve built their lives upon, deconstruct the story and build a new foundation with the client's authentic values and philosophy at the forefront of their life.
I felt really pulled to this conversation, especially with how quick Francis was to open up about her life… In the first 2 minutes she got real candid about how she grew up in a cult– and was forced to marry the cult leader’s nephew and had 3 children. It then hit her that this was NOT her value system. So, she maneuvered.
She cried out to the universe: “SHOW ME!” She needed new guidance. Any guidance.
This led her to astrology.
“We all have the right to intuition. However, our intuition is only as good as the quality of our thoughts!” – Francis Y.
Francis quickly learned that a lot of tools and techniques to healing didn’t work because they only tackle the behavior and not the belief change.
Everything started to shift for Francis when she really understood that we have to go back to the beginning– the origin– that moment of conception.
So, she developed the “TED” talk: Thought, Emotion, Desire…
It's about going to the root: if you do not tackle thought, emotion, and desire, you really cannot transmute. It's not about transformation, it's about transmutation!

This week my guest is Nicole Kalil. Nicole is slightly obsessed with confidence and what it takes to both build and keep it! She spent the bulk of her professional life with a Fortune 500 company. Nicole speaks to leaders across the country about the “not-so-secret” secrets of confidence.
“Confidence on the road to competence…” -- Nicole Kalil
During our time together, Nicole breaks down a myriad of tangible action items for us to take on the road to confidence. I will share below...
All with more confidence!
“All the things that matter to us are tied directly to our confidence.” — Nicole Kalil
“Know who you are, own who you are not, and choose to embrace all of it.” Knowing who we are is step one to confidence building. This also includes owning who you are NOT!
Let’s get deeper into it...
This week I interviewed Sylvia Tara, biochemist and author of The Secret Life of Fat.
Sylvia Tara was driven to research fat, science, and lifestyle after she finally got "fed up" with eating less and exercising more than her slimmer friends throughout her life.
Her experiences told her there was more to weight loss than just “calorie in, calorie out.” As a biochemist, she was driven to get to the bottom of fat’s mysteries and the reasons it vexes us.
In her best-selling book, The Secret Life of Fat, she reveals the complex biology of fat, how it resists loss, and what to do to remove stubborn fat. Readers will learn that fat, surprisingly, uses many tricks to stay on us, and only if you understand those tricks can you beat fat at its own game.
Now, here’s a pretty straight forward question: Have you struggled with stubborn fat?
Maybe it was while you were growing up... or even worse… after having kids?
Well, you’re not alone! And Dr. Sylvia did all the research for us ;)
For starters, it we all have a different “fat profile” -- we don’t all gain it the same way, or even burn it the same way!
“Fat has a brain!” -- Dr. Sylvia
Fat produces hormones called lectin, estrogen, and adiponectin that are essential. It signals out to your body on how to properly act and has a major influence throughout the body!
For instance, lower leptin levels leads us to hunger. And we know where this can lead… this is how weight gain can reappear once weight has been lost! Fat does not want to flee. It’s oddly smart. It’s almost working against you. Hence, those infamous yo yo diets!
“Calories matter. But, what kind of calories you’re eating matters as well.” What is the source? Is it a calorie filled with protein or from a potato chip? It. Matters.
My conversation with Dr. Sylvia was truly fascinating. I have learned so much about the body, and FAT specifically. I trust that her knowledge and expertise will help you and your loved ones, as well.
Dr. Tara is promoting her book, "The Secret life of Fat '' a pdf is available upon request.
