On this episode of The Wealthy Wellthy Podcast, I interview Denise Wiesner. Denise is certified by ABORM, the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine, she is the founder of Natural Healing & Acupuncture in West Los Angeles, California, a certified sex coach, Licensed Acupuncturist, and herbalist. Denise has been in practice since 1994 with an emphasis on women’s issues and pain control. She treats women’s conditions in various stages of life – from menstrual disorders, infertility, pregnancy to menopause. She is also the author of Conceiving With Love: A whole body approach to creating intimacy, reigniting passion, and increasing fertility

In this conversation, Denise and I explore topics ranging from sex and intimacy to the chemistry and physiology of arousal. We talk about communication and the role it plays in achieving a more pleasurable sex life, interestingly Denise shares that shame or fear is the most common reason people avoid speaking with their partner about sex. Despite this age of sexual liberation Denise regularly has clients who suffer from shame after comparing themselves to porn or media. Denise expresses how important passion is and sometimes it's just the little things we forget to do, kissing your partner or forgetting to have long embraces. Something as simple as looking at them and making eye contact can aid in bringing down the barrier in communication and intimacy. We talk about women struggling with conception and the many factors that contribute to the issue including stress, diet, and environment. In our “busy lives” we sometimes forget to just slow down, Denise tells me that taking some time to meditate or just “be” can really help lower stress, improve vital energy and help create a better environment for conception. For women approaching menopause, Denise has a list of items that when introduced into a diet can help negate some of the effects menopause has on sex. We even talk about some secrets behind the big O. If you want to get more intimate and connected with your partner be sure to listen to this episode.

On this episode of the Wealthy Wellthy Podcast, I welcome Polly Alexandre. Polly overcame decades of self-limiting beliefs and negative patterns about money, to live the life she was always meant to live. She’s an Intuitive Healer and certified Master Coach that travels the world helping creative and spiritual entrepreneurs manifest the resources needed to succeed. She is also the creator of Money Beautifully™, a program that harnesses powerful energy clearing techniques and transformational coaching to help rewrite her client’s money stories.

Polly helps changemakers and spiritual leaders fulfill their soul’s purpose and use their gifts to change the world. In this episode, we talk about money mindset and the many roadblocks we are faced with when it comes to financial confidence, Polly believes that money is the gateway to personal and spiritual growth, and without understanding underlying fears it can be hard to see what’s standing in the way of our success. We talked in-depth about the coexistence of spirituality and money, one really does serve the other. Polly shares that many, if not all money roadblocks, start with personal experiences, fears, beliefs, self-worth, and what society has led us to think. We dig into the idea of self-sabotage, Polly says procrastination or feeling resistance is often caused by internal fears manifesting, and she suggests writing down the fear you’re experiencing and ask yourself why you feel this way to get the root cause of this belief. Polly and I are so aligned on money beliefs and overcoming fear surrounding finances, do you struggle with financial fear or self-worth? You’ll definitely want to listen to this episode.

5 Common Fears and Beliefs

  1. Self-worth: How we value ourselves, feeling not good enough.
  2. Visibility: How we wish to be seen by others.
  3. External Validation: What do people think of us.
  4. Judgment: Fear of not having enough or too much.
  5. Avoidance: Avoiding what we don’t understand or fear.

On this episode of the Wealthy Wellthy podcast, we talk relationships with Bernardo (Bern) Mendez. From age 17 until Bern was about 23, he participated as a volunteer staff member in many self-help seminars around the world, which gave him an invaluable insight into how he could help others create meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. Bern has a serious passion to help others learn and live by the rules of relationships. He started posting videos to his YouTube channel, Yourgreatlifetv, after being inspired to share his message on relationships. Fast forward 9 years, he now reaches nearly eighty thousand men and women every month on his channel.

Bern talks about the importance of clear and direct communication when pursuing and sustaining a relationship. So much heartache and frustration can be eliminated if both people are clear about what they are looking for in a partner, what they anticipate the relationship to look like, and their future intentions. I get a little vulnerable and share some of my personal experiences with relationships. Bern gives me valuable insight that it doesn’t have to be an “either/or”, but it can be a “both/and” if you know what you’re looking for in a romantic relationship.

A big part of the law of attraction is what Bern calls “radiance.” He defines radiance as the magnetism that results from self-confidence, self-awareness, and self-discovery paired with the openness to be pursued and approached. Bern teaches that while it might not seem like it based on your previous relationship experiences, you are worth the effort and there are people out there who are on the same page as you when it comes to your wants, needs, and expectations. It might take longer to get down to the root of the other person’s character and inner longings, but finding the right person is worth the time investment, and if they are the “forever” person, you are not losing any time by talking with them extensively to make sure you are on the same page. If you’re searching for the one, you’ll definitely want to listen in on this episode.

On this episode of the Wealthy Wellthy podcast, I spoke with Jonathan Levi, a lifelong entrepreneur and innovator who is committed to helping people all over the world understand and live what it truly means to be a learner. Jonathan and I became fast friends during this interview, we are on the same wavelength throughout the conversation.

Jonathan grew up in Silicon Valley but realized as an adolescent and young adult that he did not like the person he had to be to succeed there. During and after college, he tried to expose himself to other cultures and traditions until he fell in love with Tel Aviv and decided to move there, stepping out on faith with no solid plan for his future. He began working on creating online courses as a side hustle and over the past few years, this has grown to be his full-time job and more. The Superhuman Academy has taught 250,000 students worldwide and has accrued 3.5 million podcast downloads.

Since he began college, Jonathan has invested in real estate for passive income and he is in the process of entering the commercial real estate realm as well. This type of investing experience emphasizes the differences between income and wealth and the importance of diversifying your income streams enough to be able to build both simultaneously. Jonathan is committed to helping people understand what it truly means to learn, to make them excited to learn, and to introduce the importance of memory in the process of learning. Many people have self-limiting beliefs that they “have a lousy memory” or “can’t remember names”, but the truth is that everyone has the ability to remember much more than they think they can. One way that Jonathan encourages this learning is by relying on the power of social capital and accountability in the learning process. His latest book, “The Only Skill That Matters” covers these topics in much more detail in an engaging way, and I encourage everyone to consider reading it.
